Storyline
A foreign couple come to stay at a Zamami Village inn. The husband, Christoph, is a Swiss photographer, and his wife, Meg, is a Japanese American. They speak to each other in English, and don't understand Japanese at all. The owner of the inn, Hana Hanashiro, and her grandson Yuhi Hanashiro, who also works there only speak Japanese. Even though they don't understand each other's language, Meg and Hana gradually befriend each other, but moody Christoph can't get used to this hotel or its island enironment. With his heart firmly closed, one day he realizes something while he is in the ocean...
