In July 2012, the 17-year-old Haruka's sister, Akiha, a university student in Tokyo, comes home unexpectedly. Haruka, tactless and shy, has always been compared with Akiha, competent and clever at anything. The unassertive Haruka feels at ease only when she is on the piano in the shed, which is the center of her universe. She carries a sad memory of having lost a younger brother. Playing the piano is her way of apologizing to him. Meanwhile, harmful rumors about radiation-tainted peaches start to distress her grandfather, who is always there for Haruka. To help him, Haruka makes a decision. Facing various issues, including sentiments of each family member for the lost life, the current situations of Fukushima peach farmers, an encounter with an evacuee boy from Namie-machi, and confrontations with Akiha, something inside Haruka is about to change…
movies, a group of local youths started producing a movie set in Koori-machi, Fukushima. The movie was completed in close cooperation with more than 500 people in Fukushima, who were involved in the production in various capacities. The heroine, Haruka, is played by Kyoko Yoshine whose naturally-derived imperious posture of playing the piano (owing much to her experience of having played the instrument since early childhood) and clear eyes are arresting. Haruka's contrastive sister is played by Ena Koshino whose allure is particularly distinctive among her contemporaries. These young and up-and-coming members of the Cast are well supported by talented veteran actors including Junkichi Orimoto, Mitsuru Hirata, Mariko Akama, and Shiro Sano.
