島ぜんぶでおーきな祭-第7回沖縄国際映画祭-

Two childhood friends who haven't seen each other for 15 years, are comically reunited by the death of their best friend, and a diamond robbery. But while one became a cop, the other one became a gangster. The cop follows the wishes of his widowed father to marry into a newly rich family. The bride-to-be is the most annoying woman ever. Meanwhile the gangster accidentally comes across 3 diamonds worth $3 million. He wants to escape the gang and start again on the straight and narrow but he knows the gang won’t give up the loot easily. As the two unlikely companions travel to their friend's funeral, they are joined by the gangster's attractive but mysterious female friend. The three of them all have their own agendas. All three will go on a journey which will take them across the south of Cambodia and which will forever change their fate, their freedom and most of all their friendship.

"Gems On The Run" is Cambodia's first road trip, family comedy and adventure film. It stars unknown Casts who became famous after this film. After being premiered at Cambodia International Film Festival, it was shown in theaters in Cambodia and was very well received, especially among young people.
